Sunrays shine upon my shoulders.
The sun’s warmth licks my cheeks.
I stop a moment to sneeze.
Hay fever dances in the wind.
A robin stops to sing
Chirp-a-chirp-a-woo-ha.
I step lightly as I walk,
A dance step now and then.
The rhythm of the seasons
Gives me lots of reasons
To smile and even gush
At nature’s beauty so lush.
Oh, how the earth’s ebb and flow
Displays a marvelous show.
I will never know how or why
There’s such a miracle in the sky,
A sun that gives us light,
Spring makes me feel so right.
